Here is an example of how to collect your reference images, these were collected from the yahoo homepage, I simply take a snapshot of the available portraits, and compile them in a 5x9 photoshop document and desaturate the color. I will usually fill it up and label it to store in a handy file on my hard drive. Don’t forget to back your library up as accidents like harddrive crashes happen and there goes all your images and hard work. Now your ready to handle a day with a case of artist block, just open a photo and start having fun drawing.
